Portfolio - I Just Want To Look , I Don't Want To Touch.

"I just want to look, I don't want to touch" is a line uttered  by the scientist Rosalind Franklin in the film version of  " The Race to the Double Helix".

Implict in this line is the notion that scientific observation is innocent' and neutral.

This piece considers  how media technology has the potencial to bring us visually closer to an object, giving the viewer a sense of intimacy and asks is looking already a form of touching?
